There are several processes that must be completed to produce a Compact Disc (CD) disc for reliable playback and distribution. 
The encoding process converts video to the MPEG-1 format.  This is the most common file type for corporate use. 
A master CD-R is then produced to submit for replication, the process through which multiple copies are made of the master.
  
Disc art printing refers to the artwork & images that are to be placed on  the face of the disc itself.
